What is the GIA?

What kind of diamonds does NIWAKA use?
NIWAKA works exclusively with high-quality diamonds selected under the strictest of standards. Center diamonds used in NIWAKA engagement rings are available in colors graded from D to G, clarity graded from FL (Flawless) to SI1 (Slightly Included) and Triple Excellent cut. For more details, please see the Diamond Guide page.
Why do NIWAKA diamonds shine so brilliantly?
While the 4Cs are an important indicator of a diamond’s worth, NIWAKA has established its own, even stricter selection guidelines. Our in-house gemologists carefully inspect the diamonds and choose only those of the highest quality. To learn more, please visit the Diamond Guide page.
Are NIWAKA diamonds conflict-free?
In adherence with the Kimberley Process, all NIWAKA diamonds are certified as conflict-free.

Yes. NIWAKA diamonds are 100% natural diamonds that have not been subjected to any treatments like clarity or color enhancement.
Do engagement rings come with a diamond certificate?

Please note that hard-copy reports will be provided to customers who placed their orders before February 1, 2023. Digital reports will be issued for orders placed on February 1, 2023 or later. Please tell me about NIWAKA's Platinum.
NIWAKA's rings use 95% platinum, maximizing the natural white luster of this noble metal.
Metals that comprise the remaining 5% are an original NIWAKA composition, which ensures that the platinum used in our rings is harder and more durable compared to more common platinum alloys.
*Please note that some of our platinum engagement rings are plated (coated).
